Synonyms: Artimisa abrotanum, Southernwood.
Habitat: Grows on sunny hills in Southern Europe and cultivated in gardens. About 3 feet high; leaves covered with whitish silky hairs; taste bitter.
Preparation: Mother tincture is prepared from the fresh leaves; higher potencies are prepared from the mother tincture.

Indications
- Marasmus of children : especially of lower extremities only ; skin flabby, loose, hangs in folds.
- Emaciation: losing flesh while eating well; face wrinkled; cannot hold head up; unable to stand.
- Hydrocele of children.
- Metastasis of mumps to the testicles or mammary glands.
- Suppressed conditions: Rheumatism after suddenly checked diarrhea; suppresses rheumatism from extremities to heart. Aggravation of haemorrhoids when rheumatism improves.
- Oozing of bllod and moisture from the navel of the newborn.
DOSAGE : 3rd to 30 C or higher.
REPETITION : May be repeated till response is noted. Single dose of higher potencies.
